This charming 22k gold ring has an almandine garnet at it’s centre flanked by two orangey red garnets. The gem settings are surrounded by small golden balls which add to it’s charm. There are six stamps on the shank. H A for the maker’s mark (or sponsor), a crown for gold, 22 for 22 karat gold, an anchor for Birmingham, P for the date 1864 and the monarch’s profile to show duty has been paid..
