Chocolate brown blister pearl with subtle pink, purple and blue undertones. Possibly from Fiji or Tahiti. Set in 14ct gold, size Q. Underside shows mother of pearl. Stamped with indistinct makers mark, 585 and 14k.

Impressive 2.70 ct (approx.) violet blue step cut sapphire flanked by two .067ct (approx.) diamonds in a platinum milgrain setting. The exceptional sapphire is possibly Ceylonese (Sri Lanka) and has no eye visible inclusions. There are a couple of natural inclusions visible under microscope.
